Inverleith St Serf’s Parish Church, after their recent refurbishment

An opportunity to hear a selection from Cadenza’s repertoire of choral classics and well as songs in lighter vein, and help to raise funds for the work of The Soko Fund at the same time.

Cadenza will perform a selection of classical favourites from JS Bach, Bruckner and Debussy, as well as more contemporary melodies across a range of genres – including songs by Laura Mvula and Cyndi Lauper. You can be sure there truly is something for everyone in our eclectic mix of choral performance to delight you this spring!

The Soko Fund is a small charity registered in Scotland supporting women from disadvantaged backgrounds in Malawi to access university education. Malawi is one of the world’s poorest countries. Education is essential to its development. By focusing on women, the overall impact is greater, going beyond the individual to entire families and the wider community. With Soko’s support, Malawi has many more women graduates in education, healthcare, business, agriculture, natural resource management and other sectors – all contributing to the country’s development.

Tickets cost £12, £10 (students) and children are free! They are available online at Eventbrite (fees apply) and on the door.
