Cadenza return to a (hopefully!) ‘normal’ Christmas concert for the first time since the Coronavirus pandemic, after cancellation in 2020 and a reduced-length concert in 2021.
This concert will be our first under new MD, Timothy Coleman, and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you.
With both a cappella and accompanied items spanning many centuries and musical genres, Cadenza’s Christmas concert has something for everyone and includes the opportunity to join in with well-known carols.
This year’s concert includes music by, amongst others, Benjamin Britten, Hector Berlioz, John Tavener, Gustav Holst, Hieronymus Praetorius, James Macmillan, John Rutter, Elizabeth Poston & Peter Cornelius.
What better way to start your Festive season than to join us for an evening of inspirational music, seasonal refreshments and a chance to win a Christmas hamper?
Copies of our critically acclaimed Christmas CD, Bright Star – Cadenza at Christmas, several tracks of which have been given play time on both BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM, will also be on sale after the concert.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite (online fees apply), via choir members, or phone/text our Concert Manager (07903 104 557). We’ll also have tickets available on the door, and – new for 2022 – with card payment options available! Tickets cost £12, £10 (concessions) and £3 (schoolchildren).
