An opportunity to hear a selection from Cadenza’s repertoire of choral classics and well as songs in lighter vein, and help to raise funds for St Michael’s Parish Church and its iconic spire at the same time.
Cadenza will perform a selection of classical favourites from JS Bach, Bruckner and Debussy, as well as more contemporary melodies across a range of genres – including songs by Laura Mvula and Cyndi Lauper. You can be sure there truly is something for everyone in our eclectic mix of choral performance to delight you this spring!
All proceeds go to Aspire Linlithgow, the capital fundraising campaign of St Michael’s Parish Church, Linlithgow. The Crown of Thorns spire of St Michael’s Parish Church has become the modern-built symbol of Linlithgow since it was installed in 1964. But decades of Scottish weather have taken their toll: both the aluminium cladding and sections of the timber structure now need to be replaced with modern, long-life materials. Let’s aspire to remake history by safeguarding this iconic Linlithgow structure for future generations to enjoy!
Even if you are not able to attend the concert, you can still support the project at the following page: https://www.stewardship.org.uk/pages/aspirelinlithgow
Tickets cost £10 and are available in advance online at Eventbrite (platform fees apply), or on the door.
