Musical Director: Timothy Coleman
Accompanist: Morley Whitehead

Join us for an uplifting evening of sacred music at Marchmont St Giles’ Church, Edinburgh in Cadenza’s annual Easter charity concert series — this year in aid of St Columba’s Hospice.
Spanning five centuries, the programme moves from Bach to Britten, Monteverdi to Mendelssohn, showcasing the full breadth of choral expression. Highlights include the purity of Byrd’s Renaissance polyphony, the expressive depth of Bach, the rich Romantic warmth of Rachmaninoff, and the shimmering contemporary voices of Caroline Shaw and Arvo Pärt.
Under the direction of Timothy Coleman, and accompanied by Morley Whitehead on piano and organ, Cadenza brings vitality, passion, and rich vocal colour to every performance.

St Columba’s Hospice Care exists to give everyone who needs it the very
best hospice care. We offer free, flexible and person-centred palliative care
and support to our patients and their families.
