Join us for an uplifting evening of sacred music at St Michael’s at Linlithgow and Avon Valley Church in Cadenza’s annual Easter charity concert series — this year in aid of Project 600.
Spanning five centuries, the programme moves from Bach to Britten, Monteverdi to Mendelssohn, showcasing the full breadth of choral expression. Highlights include the purity of Byrd’s Renaissance polyphony, the expressive depth of Bach, the rich Romantic warmth of Rachmaninoff, and the shimmering contemporary voices of Caroline Shaw and Arvo Pärt.
Under the direction of Timothy Coleman, and accompanied by Morley Whitehead on piano and organ, Cadenza brings vitality, passion, and rich vocal colour to every performance.
Project 600 supports the restoration and renewal of St Michael’s Church, safeguarding its historic building for future generations.
