Cadenza is always looking for good singers of all voices, so if you fancy giving us a try, why not come along to our Open Rehearsal?
Your chance to join us in singing a representative selection of our repertoire and see what we’re like – with no obligation. This is a free event.
You can expect the following:
- A spacious rehearsal venue, with good public transport links and free on-street parking
- A warm welcome as you join the ranks of the choir as a soprano, alto, tenor or bass
- A gentle vocal warm-up and introduction
- Working through a selection of our repertoire (maybe even some Christmas music…) – guaranteed to be plenty pieces that the choir hasn’t seen before too, so we’re all in the same boat!
- A break halfway through, where you can chat and ask anything of anyone
- The opportunity to arrange a date and time for an audition, if you’d like to progress with us (and we hope you do!)
- You’d also be very welcome to join a few members of the choir at the local pub after the rehearsal: we frequent the The Cask & Barrel
We are a friendly choir and will give you a very warm welcome if you decide to join us for the evening, or even part of the evening, on 25th September.
