With both a cappella and accompanied items spanning many centuries and musical genres, Cadenza’s Christmas concert has something for everyone and includes the opportunity to join in with well-known carols.
Cadenza at the Fringe 2022
Cadenza performs Handel’s joyous coronation anthem Zadok the Priest and his Foundling Hospital Anthem with its famous last chorus, Lotti’s Missa Sapientiae, admired by Handel (who owned a score), all with orchestral accompaniment. Plus, two a cappella settings of Beati Quorum Via by Stanford and Janet Wheeler. Cadenza will be conducted by Musical Director Jenny Sumerling and we welcome soprano Rowan Pierce. Read more…
